Swedish Relaxation Massage

A relaxing massage utilizing a series of long, gliding strokes and gentle kneading techniques on the muscles, combined with active and passive movements on the joints. Encourages relaxation, increases the movement of body fluids helping flush toxins and soothes the nervous system.  The most popular type of massage, best known for rejuvenating both mind and body. 
 
Myofascial (Deep Tissue) Massage

A therapy focusing on specific areas of the body to re-balance and reduce tension by stretching and manipulating the various layers of fascia that support muscle tissues and loosen bonds between the layers of connective tissues and the muscles. This treatment requires active participation and communication from the client
 
Sports Massage

Massage performed either in preparation for a future event or to promote recovery after an event.  Sports Massage may include Myofascial  techniques, plus assisted stretching methods.  Sports massage can benifit all levels of athletes and exercisers, runners, walkers, hikers, swimmers, bicyclists, triathletes, racquet sport enthusiasts, golf players and others.

Pre-Natal  Massage

Given to pregnant women to help relax and relieve the stresses and discomforts  of pregnancy.   Pre-natal massage will help to decrease insomnia, to provide stress relief on weight-bearing joints, to reduce neck and back pain relief caused by muscle imbalance and weakness, to assist in maintaining proper posture, to reduce swelling in hands and feet; and to lessen sciatic pain.
