I am a graduate of the Cortiva Institute-Somerset School of Massage Therapy
where I completed a 780-hour training course in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release Massage, Chair Massage, Sports
Massage and various spa treatments, including body scrubs, Hot Stone Massage, Hot Paraffin Dip and Spa Reflexology Foot Treatment
to name a few. The curriculum also included anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathophysioloy, palpation, ethics and business
classes as well as an internship at the school clinic. I have massaged at sports events at Rutgers University, for the
football team, Princeton University and Berkeley College. Besides my private practice I also do volunteer massage work at
Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Saint Peters's University, The Institute for Children with Cancer
and Blood Disorders in New Brunswick, NJ and the MS Society.
I apprenticed under Kim LeMoon MT.
Kim graduated as both Academic and Technique Valedictorian
from the Somerset School of Massage and has maintained a private massage therapy practice in Highland Park NJ for the past
ten years. She is the creator of Fascial Facilitation Soft Tissue Therapy, a system of bodywork that mobilizes fascial restrictions
between neighboring anatomical structures.
